Andrew Yang just appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert and will be appearing on the debate stage this Thursday night.

I can tell with time that Yang is growing more confident. He is pretty repetitive with his messaging, but at the same time I think this is a brilliant tactic for making sure his words sink in. For many of Colbert's viewers, this will be the first time they've ever heard Yang speak, so getting down the correct messaging focusing on automation replacing jobs in places like Michigan and Ohio will be key in winning over a lot of these voters.

Andrew Yang also briefly mentions his plan for free marriage counseling. I think free marriage counseling could have an unintended, positive effect for public education and teachers as home life will become a lot more stable for many families. With more stable home lives, there will be fewer disruptions in the classroom, and thus students will better perform.

Colbert goes on to ask Yang about several other policies such as his idea for a White House psychologist and eliminating the penny.

Andrew Yang also made a special announcement last night...

Overall I think the interview went well and I'm looking forward to Yang in the debates this Thursday! #YangGang
